Excellent stables & facilities

We love going...Amy is really good with my little girl who finds it quite a bit harder to understand things. She loves the ponies, riding & Amy 👍🏇♥️

Knowle Hill is one of the best Landmark properties I've stayed in. Like all Landmarks it's steeped in history and this is evident in the worn stone steps and the ruined out buildings. The summer house is delightful, the bed rooms are comfortable and the kitchen is clean and well equipped. The location is fabulous, though there are no views with the property being situated in a valley, there is a wood and a stream. It's a very quiet location with no traffic noise and only the occasional airplane to be heard in the distance from East Midlands Airport. There is a village near by and also supermarkets in Ashby 15 minutes away so you are not completely cut off from modern conveniences. There's also still a reasonable strength 4G mobile signal.

I love this riding centre!!!! I have been riding for about 3 years and was not doing well at my old riding stable, I have been riding at knowle hill for about 7 months now and love it!!!! My riding instructor (amie) is amazing and teaches me really well. I would recommend this stable for beginners and advanced.! Also the horses are beautiful and well behaved.

Visited as part of Heritage Open Days and it was absolutely lovely. I learnt more about Landmark Trust and would definitely recommend this as a quaint and quiet place to stay.

Had a great lesson with Amie. Would recommend the school to complete beginners as well as experienced riders.
