Introduction

In the latter part of last year, it was suggested that we create a community orchard to commemorate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. We found several sites that we felt suitable and after talks with the landowners and tenants decided that the field between Bantons Lane and the Arch was the most suitable. This land is owned by the National Trust and rented to local residents who graze sheep on this field. More »
